New Rockers is our most popular introductory camp for young climbers. Campers spend 4 full days in the gym learning the fundamental skills and basics of indoor rock climbing, while also being encouraged to build confidence, communication skills, responsibility, and teamwork with other campers.

Adventure Rock 1 begins with 4 days in the gym, learning the fundamentals of climbing and belaying while also enjoying a mix of fun games and group activities. On the final day of camp, the group joins our professionally certified, outdoor guide staff for 1 DAY OUTSIDE, climbing on real rock at a local climbing area.

Adventure Rock 2 is the next step for aspiring climbers! It begins with 2 days in the gym, where campers practice essential climbing skills in a fun, challenging, and supportive environment. Campers then spend 2 DAYS OUTSIDE at local areas climbing on real rock with our professionally certified guides, before returning for a final day of climbing and fun activities in the gym.

Adventure Rock 3 starts with one day in the gym learning and refreshing climbing skills and getting to know each other. The next 3 DAYS ARE SPENT OUTSIDE with our professionally certified, outdoor guide staff at outdoor climbing areas. On the final day, campers will be back in the gym for a day of climbing and activities to end the week.

Adventure Rock 4 emphasizes outdoor climbing and exploring the natural world. Climbers spend the first day in the gym where they will review belaying skills, climbing movement, communication, and teamwork. They will then spend the next 4 DAYS CLIMBING OUTSIDE with our professionally certified guides! With a focus on climbing, campers will get to enjoy a variety of our local outdoor climbing areas.

Designed for experienced youth climbers enrolled in our Club and Team programs, this camp offers day trips focused on projecting harder climbs outside. Climbers will have four outdoor days at various locations in western Washington followed by an indoor day. We’ll tour a handful of climbing areas under the supervision of our professionally trained guides.

Campers should be familiar with top rope belaying before camp starts.
