Avalanche Rescue is for everyone, whether you are just learning how to use your transceiver, an aspiring professional, or a backcountry traveler with many years of backcountry experience. This one-day course is a place to both learn new skills and keep your existing skills sharp.

Our snowshoe AIARE 1 course provides a broad introduction to avalanche phenomena and hazard management.

AIARE 2 is a three-day/24-hour course that provides backcountry travelers an opportunity to advance their decision making skills in more complicated situations such as being a leader within a small travel group, traveling in more complicated terrain, and/or developing a travel plan where resources are scarce.

DURATION: 3 days + 1 evening

Want to take your winter to new depths? Our guides will help you to find the best quality snow available, involve you in the decision-making process, and do all of the trailbreaking! A day of custom guiding is a perfect follow-up to an avalanche course, touring program, or to gain some mentorship in the backcountry.
